Read All The Books

Love and War continues shortly after the first book Alex and Eliza .  Alex and Eliza newlyweds struggling to make ends meet. Eliza is dreaming of the day they can move out of her family home and start a family of their own and Alex is ready to go to end the war and make something of himself. While I enjoyed this book, it wasn't nearly as goof as the first and knowing that there will be a third and final book now, I believe that majority of this book could have been condensed and just added to the final book. I feel this series would have been better as a duology. That's just my feeling having read the second book, it might change once I have read the final book, but for now I feel like this book was mostly filler that could have been condensed. While the storyline dragged, I loved the characters as much as I did in book one. They still give me all the feels and although I am not married, I feel this book definitely portrayed a newlywed couple perfectly. Not...

I loved this book! You have no idea how much! I read this book the day that I got it, the entire thing - that's how much I loved it. The storyline, the writing, the charcters, honestly everything about this book, I loved. The main character (Autumn) accidently gets locked in the library after hours. That right there is a dream come true for me. However, she soon discover that she isn't alone and that a boy (Dax) that she kind of knows from school is locked in with her. The both learn that people aren't as they seem and a friendship starts to grow between them. Autumn suffers with anxiety and learns throughout the book that you should take care of yourself first and not worry about what others think of you. Take mental health days when you need them. I think that is an important lesson to be learnt by everyone. I enjoyed the characters immensely, especially the friendships formed and how extremely real they seemed. This novella is number 4.5 in the Fall Away series. The main character is the sister of Jarod, Madoc and Jax, 3 characters who you meet in the previous books. Next to Never introduces her to the series, however this novella is not her love story. This story is about the next generation while also giving the reader some insight into background history of previous characters. This novella sets up the rest of the series to come. There is a story within this story which I really enjoyed the concept of. It's not every day that you read a book that has a book in it. What I have read about the new generation so far has been promosing and I can't wait til she writes the next book in the series. Not sure how I felt about the love story included (like I mentioned it is not the main characters love story) but it does explain in previous books, 2 characters that I didn't quite understand how they ended up together. I am so glad this is the first book I decided to read in 2017 as it will most likely be in my top 5 books of 2017. This book is about a girl who is on the last day of her holiday tour overseas and decides at the last minute to see a differnet Shakespeare play than the one her tour mates are about to see. At the play she meets a boy who changes her whole outlook on life. She impulisviely agrees to spend one day with him to go to Paris (part of the tour that she had been looking forward to previously but had been cancelled due to a strike happening at the time) and this begins her journey of self discovery. I had recently just got back from a trip where I didn't really have the best time and just thinking about travelling again was definitely not something I was thinking about or looking forward to.  However, after reading this book it has put me in the mood to travel again.
