Finale (Caraval #3) - Stephanie Garber Review

Image
This is the last installment of the Caraval series and man is it a bittersweet one. I love this series with all my heart and cannot believe it has ended! I love this entire world and the wonderful cast of characters, so as much as I loved this book I'm also sad that this series has ended. There will be no more new things to discover about this world in the future.  Finale picks up a couple of months after the events of Legendary. The fates have been released from the deck of destiny and Legend has claimed the throne.  Unlike the first two books, there is no game in this one. Everything is very much real. There is no Caraval, just real events and real consequences. This is also told in dual perspective, from Tella and Scarlet's point of views which I think just wraps up both sister's stories nicely. You can get to see both their perspectives and both of their endings. I loved meeting the new cast of characters in this story, the fates truly deserve their own book...

Legendary (Caraval #2)- Stephanie Garber Review

Where do I even begin with this review. I loved this book! LOVED!! I didn't think I could love this book more than Caraval  but here we are. Legendary picks up right where Caraval ended only this time it follows, Tella, Scarlet's sister as she attempts to play Caraval in order to find the identity of Legend.  Tella has made a deal with a 'friend' to get her mother back in exchange for Ledend's real name so we are thrown back into the game of Caraval only this time it might be real and not just a game. Wow was this book a ride and a half! Stephanie Garber's writing is truly magical. I don't even know how to describe it, it's truly beautiful and unlike anything else I have read. I listened to the audiobook for this one as I absolutely loved Rebecca Soler's reading of Caraval so I decided to continue on with this series by listening to the audiobooks. Will I be picking up the book and physically reading it? You know it! I can't get ...

Caraval - Stephanie Garber Review

Do you ever love a book so much that after you finish reading it, you immediately want to reread it again...no...just me then. I wasn't even half way through reading this book when I knew that I wanted to reread it so that's exactly what I did. I started off by listening to the audiobook and wow was it amazing! Rebecca Soler that does the recording brings this story to life. She makes every character sound unique and really makes you feel like you are right there in Caraval with the characters. I gave this book 5 stars but I wanted to actually physically read it to see if I would give it the same rating as when I listened to it because the audiobook is just that good! So after rereading it I found that I did love it enough to give it 5 stars but I still found the audiobook to be slightly better than physically reading only because I could not make the story sound as good in my own voice as Rebecca Soler. I will definitely be listening to all her audiobooks which is...
