The Unhoneymooners begins with Olive helping her twin sister Ami get ready for her big day! Ami is the definition of lucky while Olive is the complete opposite. Ami met her fiance in the cutest way possible. Ami wins ever contest she enters. Ami has pretty much financed her entire wedding and honeymoon by winning a series of contests. Olive has just lost her job. Olive is unlucky in love. Olive has to spend the day with Ethan, brother of the groom and her sworn enemy.

 A twist of fate finds the entire wedding party sick from toxic fish at the buffet except for Olive and Ethan. Ami and her husband urge Olive and Ethan to take the free holiday and while they hate each other, who wouldn't take a free holiday to Hawaii, they'll just have to avoid each other right?! Perhaps Olive's luck is changing? She even gets a call to start a new job when she gets back! Luck is definitely on her side! Right!?

 Olive's bad luck comes back full force when she finds her new boss in Hawaii and has to pretend to actually be married to Ethan. Soon she finds she is spending all her time with Ethan and perhaps she doesn't hate it as much as she thought. Perhaps she likes him more than she thought!

 A cute enemies to lovers read that explores the concept of luck and will make you feel like you are on vacation! This is my first Christina Lauren book and I will definitely be picking up more books from them in them in the future!

WARNING: Contains some spoilers! Ok so where I do begin! First I should probably explain how BIG of a Pretender fan I am. I basically grew up watching this show. I was 10 when it first aired and I even remember seeing the first advertisement on TV announcing that it was coming on and I was already hooked. After a 30 second ad I knew I needed to watch it. The Mindful Way To A Good Night's Sleep - Tzivia Gover Review

I read this book over the span of a week, right before going to bed and I have noticed a slight improvement in my sleeping already. To fully get the benefits of this book, I think you need to constantly work at all the advice given even though some of the advice can be hard to do for some people like me ie. not using any electronics before going to bed. This book is split up into sections going through why getting a good night's sleep is beneficial, understanding your dreams and why we dream and how that affects our sleep to steps on how to actually get a good night's sleep. I really enjoyed the journaling prompts given as well as the step by step guide to meditating. I marked a lot of pages to look back on such as the breathing exercises which I found very helpful to help me in the future. I also thought the sleep/dream quotes scattered throughout this book was a nice touch.

White Fire (Pendergast series) - Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child Review

I can't tell you how excited I was to read this book. Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child are two of my favourite authors to read and the Pendergast series is one of my all time favourite book series (second only after Harry Potter). White Fire is the thirteenth book in the Pendergast series about FBI Special Agent A.X.L. Pendergast but you do not have to read the previous 12 before you read this book if you do not want to, (I highly recommend it though) you can read it as a stand-alone book. Even though the book is a Pendergast novel, it's mainly told through Corrie Swanson's (Pendergast's protege and first seen in 'Still Life With Crows') point of view. Corrie currently enrolled at John Jay College of Criminal Justice is working on a thesis which takes her to 'Roaring Fork' an exclusive ski resort in Colorado to examine the remains of 12 miners who were mauled to death by a bear 150 years previously.
