October 2017 TBR!

My October TBR is fairly ambitious  at 13 books but I am really excited to read a lot of books to bring my TBR list down. I was down to 92 books but then I added more so now it is over 100 so hopefully I get to most if not all 13 of these books this month. So the first 2 books on my TBR are ARCS from Netgalley: 1. The Count of Monte Christo Manga - Crystal S Chan 2. Roll The Dice - Wayne Avrashaw The next 2 books on my TBR are re-reads: 3. Geekerella - Ashley Poston 4. Picture of Dorian Grey - Oscar Wilde I then have 6 books sitting on my bookshelf that I would like to get to: 5 - 9. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series 10. A Court of Thorns and Roses - Sarah J Maas The next 2 books are books that have been on both my August and September TBR but I have yet to read because I know they will be amazing and I will get through them so quickly and then be depressed I have finished reading them so I have yet to pick them up: 11. Eliza and her Monsters - Fran

Forever & Always - Jasinda Wilder Review

WARNING: This review will have a lot of spoilers. Actually all of the spoilers so best not to read if you don't want to be spoiled . So I haven't done a review for about 2 months, one because I was on holidays and didn't have time and two because I hadn't really read anything that I wanted to review as most of the books that I have been reading lately have been average reads and haven't really inspired me. I was so excited when I started reading Forever & Always as this book started off (started being the operative word here) amazing and I couldn't wait to finish it so I could sit down and write a review telling everyone how much I loved it and how amazing it was. This is the first novel in the Ever trilogy. This book is told in dual perspective from the point of view of Caden and Ever. The pair meet at a summer camp for aspiring artists and spend one afternoon drawing by a lake and sharing secrets. They immediately feel a connection. They don't se

2017 Reading Goals Completed!

So I have officially finished my reading goals for the year and there are still 3 months of the year left!!! My main goal this year was to read 100 books and this was completed back in August but I didn't realise until this month that I had read so many books so yay for me! My other 2 goals were to finish all the books on my bookshelf and to re-read all the Harry Potter books and these were both done in July! So since I have finished all my goals I have decided to add a couple more goals for the last 3 months. I have since bought 5 Percy Jackson books that are currently sitting on my bookshelf that I need to read and there are a few books that I want to reread as well. Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde Hush Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell Geekerella - Ashley Poston It would be a bonus for me to finish these 9 books but if I don't I won't be too upset as I already completed the goals I had set at the beginning of the year!

Book to Movie Wishlist Tag

Image
I decided to do another book tag as I recently got back from my holiday and have not had time to write out a review so hence another book tag. With the Book to Movie Wishlist tag all you have to do is pick 5 books you wish to be made into movies or TV series and explain why. Simple huh. So here we go: 1. Harry Potter series. Yes I am aware that this is already a movie but how amazing would this be as a TV series!! They could do a season per book. That's 5 seasons of Harry Potter! Who doesn't want that?! I don't feel like I need to explain why I want this as I am sure you all agree that we need more Harry Potter in our lives. 2. Love and Gelato. This would make a fantastic movie. The scenery in this would be worth it to watch but I also just feel like this would play out amazingly on the big screen as while I was reading the book it played out like a movie. The drama, the romance, the scenery, the food...I mean come on the screenplay writes itself. 3.
