Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) - Tahereh Mafi Review

Unravel Me ended on quite the cliffhanger. Omega Point was destroyed. Juliette almost died. Are any of the rebels even alive? Is Adam?! Juliette doesn't know but she will not stop at trying to take down the Restablishment once and for all.

So much like book two I decided to read the novella that proceeds this book, Fracture Me which is told through the perspective of Adam and much like I predicted, I hate him now!! Warner for the win!!

Adam is truly draining in this book. He is only really out for himself and his younger brother. He doesn't care about anyone else and I wanted to reach through the pages and punch him in the face. Seeing his actual feelings when he believes Juliette is dead is like a slap in the face. He only gets worse in Ignite Me!

Like the first two books, this mainly focuses on the romance side of things and the real action of the story happens in the last few chapters and honestly ends rather abruptly in my opinion.  Had this been the real last book in what was originally meant as a trilogy I would have been really disappointed and and wouldn't have given this a 5 star rating like a did. The ending truly felt unfinished. I am so glad there is another 2 books in the series with one more to be written because I need more Warner and Kenji in my life.

Juliette was slightly more tolerable in this book than in the last one as she has finally come into her power and taken charge of her life. Plus she was a true baddass in the last few chapters! Can't wait to see where her character will go!
