2018 Reading Goals!

So after a fantastic year of reading in 2017 I have finally decided on my reading goals for 2018. I only have 2 goals for 2017 but they are BIG ones. Goal number one is to read 150 books! I usually only challenge myself to read 100 books but I have increased it to 150 because of goal number two. Goal number two is to read all the books on the BBC 6 book challenge which can be found here . This challenge states that the BBC believes that people have only read 6 books on this list. There are 100 books on the list. I have already read half the books on this list and I don't plan on reading the bible so there is a total of 49 books remaining but since 2 of the listed books are series it really equates to 57 books. There are a lot of new releases I am looking forward to next year hence why I upped my reading challenge to 150 as I did not want my reading list to just be books on the BBC list. So that's it! My reading goals for 2018! What are your goals?

End of Year Book Tag!

1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish? I definitely need to finish Renegades by Marissa Myer as I am only 150 pages into it and there are not that many days left until the end of the year. I am finding this book slow going for some reason. 2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year? Since I live in Australia and it is summer at the end of the year this question should probably be do you have a spring book and since I am doing this tag really late it probably isn't even relevant any more so I am just going to say maybe a Kasie West book. I feel they are good summer time books to read. 3. Is there any new release that you are waiting for? With how late I am doing this tag I don't think there are any books coming out in the next week or so at least not that I am aware of. 4. What are 3 books you want to read before the end of the year? I want to read A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas, Lucky in Love by

The Last Days Of Us - Beck Nicholas Review

A road trip across Australia with friends to see a band, umm yes please sign me up! Sounds like the perfect light summer read. A girl trying to get back together with her ex who is now dating her best friend, this should be interesting and fun is what I thought.  I was honestly expecting a fun quick summer beach read but this book was so much more! Zoey is trying to get her life back together after going off the rails right after losing her brother and she thinks the perfect way to do this is by getting back together with her ex whilst on a road trip to see her favourite band. Things start to get complicated when her ex's cousins join and she finds herself attracted to the dark and moody Luc. While there is a lot of fun times in this book, it is deep and actually quite heartbreaking. I definitely found myself crying. I really felt for Zoey, trying to overcome her sadness and move past her mistakes. Realising that life is short and you should make the most of every day.

Someone To Love - Melissa De La Cruz Review

This book had been sitting on my Goodreads TBR for quite a while and I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy. Some of my favourite books have been written by Melissa De La Cruz and while not all of her books are 5 stars for me I still plan on reading all her books. I received an advanced readers copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the lovely people at HQ who sent me a copy to review. I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. I honestly had no idea what this book was about before I started, just that it was written by Melissa De La Cruz and that I had to read it. Olivia is a politician's daughter who struggles with bulimia, self doubt and her parents high expectations. She believes she is a social outcast with only two friends but things soon change when she manages to get herself invited to the party of the year in the hopes of meeting her art idol but instead catches the eye of the hottest guy in school. Things are going great for Liv f
