Maybe Someday - Colleen Hoover

WARNING: Contains some spoilers!

At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

This book is written in the point of views of both Sydney and Ridge which is great because you get to see inside the thoughts of both the characters and feel what they're feeling.

Maybe Someday is a story about a love triangle and you do find out early on that Ridge has a long-time girlfriend Maggie, but this is a love triangle unlike others. This book will keep you guessing how this story is going to end. You feel for every character. Every character is loveable. You can't not like someone...well except for maybe Hunter and Tori...

Your heart will be at war with itself when you read this story. You'll want Ridge and Sydney to end up together but you'll also want Ridge to be with Maggie. Maggie is one of the best characters and you can't help but love her and wish her happiness.

Sydney is one of the most outstanding main characters you could wish to read about. She always manages to rise above and overcome whatever life throws at her. I found myself smiling, laughing and crying right along with her.

Ridge is too perfect for words. I can't even begin to describe how much I loved this character so I won't even try - you just have to read the book!

I wondered how this story was going to end as I read it and Colleen Hoover doesn't disappoint.  I cried over how perfect the ending was and wished the story didn't end when it did as I wanted more. Much more!

This book will keep you turning the pages well past your bedtime desperately trying to finish it.

The other amazing thing about this book is that there is a soundtrack that goes hand it hand with this book that you can download and listen to. In the ebook version that I downloaded it has links that you can click on in certain chapters so you can listen to the song as the characters are listening/playing/singing to it. The talented artist is Griffin Peterson and he is truly incredible!

I highly, highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story and this is definitely one of the best I have read!

5 out of 5 stars!!
